How to write a prescription for augmentin 4. Richard Gregory, who studied visual illusions for many years, insisted that perceptions were, in fact, perceptual hypotheses (as, in the 1860s, Hermann von Helmholtz called themunconscious inferences). Gregory was a stereo enthusiasthe often sent his friends stereoscopic Christmas cardsbut when I spoke to him about seeing faces as hollow masks, he was very surprised. With something as familiar and crucial as a face, he thought, probabilities and context would weigh the odds heavily against such a radical misperception. I agreed, but could not gainsay my own experience, and Gregory had to concede that such an improbable phenomenon might indeed occur in someone who is strongly biased towards binocular cues. Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

God has hope, and we have hope. They are different, but they intersect each other.

Our biggest hopes are pretty much guaranteed. Romans 5 summarizes our exalted and secure position. We have been justified by faith. We have peace with God through Jesus, and by Him we have gained the access (by faith) to the grace (undeserved, unmerited favor) where we stand secure, forgiven and complete. We rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And even more we rejoice in our sufferings because we know they produce perseverance and that brings character and then comes hope. “And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit Whom He has given us.” Rom 5:8

That seems like a guarantee to me. Our hope is based on God’s love poured out on us through His Spirit given to us and dwelling in us. I’d say that’s a sure deal.

But God’s hope has a shakier future.  His hope is presented in Romans 8 which also begins with a summation of our awesome status as sons and daughters of God led by His Spirit. Verse 18 switches to the future glory which will be revealed IN us. Not to us, or for us, but IN us. This makes all the present troubles fade into insignificance. Now try to wrap your mind and heart around the next 3 verses which shows us what God’s hope is. “The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, IN HOPE that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.” Rom 8:19-21.

What is the frustration of creation? What is the bondage to decay? It’s not death.

Death has been overcome and its power destroyed, so this is not part of God’s hope; it already exists, it is an accomplished fact. Clearly then this is not part of God’s hope. We don’t hope for what we already have.

Adam and Eve’s disobedience had horrific consequences. Death, the curse on the earth, the sweat and toil, stink and decay, thorns and thistles, warfare and suffering - all consequences of the fall. And then at the time of the flood God subjected things to further frustration. Because of our violence He lowered our life spans to a maximum of 120, the earth was tipped and seasons made harsher and tougher, and our brains were scrambled, dumbed down, to protect us from the violence. You can’t do as much violence with a shorter life span or with a brain that can no longer build pyramids, name all the animals, etc. Now, in this seventh millennium it is about to change again. In fact it is changing as we watch.

God hopes it will change back to the freedom He established at the beginning. The sons of God are to be revealed. The creation awaits the glorious freedom of the children of God.  This is what God hopes for.

How will this happen? And why doesn’t God just do it? Because it is our job to stand in God’s victory. We fight FROM victory, not for victory. Jesus already did that. We are the warriors for whom the angels minister or serve. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won. Now we are to stand in that victory and wrestle the demonic forces into submission. This is our job, not “warrior” angels.

It is our job as sons and daughters to grow up into who we are - the ones created to be like God. There is only one Christ to rule during this Sabbath millennium. Jesus is the head and we are the body. I don’t know when Jesus will physically join the body during this thousand year reign, but I do know we are to be reigning now. Reigning over the geophysical crisis of the earth shifting and groaning. We see and hear those groans daily on the television news. We are called to creatively participate in the freeing of creation from its bondage to decay. And in this reigning our only work or labor is to enter His rest, and keep the unity of the Spirit. We see the political turmoil as the kingdoms of this world disintegrate, and the Kingdom of God, His reign and rule through His sons and daughters comes forth.

This is God’s hope. It will happen when we stop acting like mere men, and grow up into what we already are. I am the Frank Smith expression of Christ, a form of the living God. Who are you?

Love,

Frank

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

I hope you had a blessed family time and celebration at Christmas, and that the celebration never stops. We have become God’s family through the powerful and transforming work of Jesus. I think we under value the importance of our redemption and quickly and often forget who and what we are.

During 2016 as we continue the transition into this final millennium, I pray that you will also transition into the reality and life of who you really are and what your assignment is for this time.

Here is my latest poem/song that helps me remember. For the “old timers” the melody fits “Holy God, we praise your name,” with two of the lines omitted.

ABBA IN HEAVEN

Abba in heaven, I come as Your son

Greatly loved and with You as one.

Greatly loved and with You as one.

The snake says I’m guilty, bad through and through,

But You say I’m holy, set apart, and made new.

You say I’m holy, set apart, and made new.

Abba in heaven, I come as Your son

Greatly loved and with You as one.

Greatly loved and with You as one.

It’s all about Isa, Your first born son,

Called Jesus, Yahushua, and now Christ is us.

Called Jesus, Yahushua, and now Christ is us.

I died when He died, for He died as me;

I rose when He rose, for He rose as me.

We died when He died, for He died as us;

We rose when He rose, for He rose as us.

Abba father, we come as Your son

Greatly loved and with You we’re one.

Greatly loved and with You we’re one.

Shalom for 2016 and forever.

Love to all,

Frank

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

May the love of God so overwhelm you that the kingdom of darkness and the cares of this world would just fall off like autumn leaves in the cool breezes of approaching winter. Rest in God. That’s what the Sabbath is all about and this is the Sabbath Millennium.

I’m sorry it has been so long since I wrote. I have some problems with my flesh (laziness) and a few light and momentary issues with the body, which seems to be improving.

NO MORE PO BOX. After thirty some years, I am not renewing the PO Box in Vista. The price keeps going up and up (surprise, surprise) and the usage goes down and down. This does not mean that Crushed Grapes no longer receives tithes and offerings. We do. In fact it is our primary income, subsidized by $225 from Lutheran Retirement and $747 Social Security. Those of you who have been using the PO Box, please change the address to 2404 via Mariposa west unit 2G, Laguna Woods Ca. 92637.

Other methods of getting your tithes and offerings to Crushed Grapes is by direct deposit at US Bank, account #165100654921. I like this puzzling dilemma as I try to figure out who sent it, but often I have to thank God for the $67.20 brother or sister without including a name (God knows who it is.) Some have used Pay Pal (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..) This is very convenient, but there is a fee deducted from the offering.

The most crucial support you can give is to pray for us and this strange (unique) ministry.

                    questions
A FEW WORDS ^ ON CURRENT EVENTS. Does God still control weather systems? Does He like being ignored and left out? Does He follow the laws and regulations we establish? When we told Him He was not welcome in our schools, did He leave? As we tell Him what is politically correct, does He listen? Is he still interested in governments and nations and the affairs of men? Does He get jealous? Watching the news report on the epidemic of tornadoes and their destruction, an observer kept repeating, “Oh my God, Oh my God.” Is this a prayer?

Does God still answer prayer? Is God saying, “Can I have your attention please?” Are the current world events an exercise program for us to learn to reign in life? Are we truly Christ’s body? Do we still have authority over wind and wave, storm and turmoil? Did Jesus our Master give us authority to heal the sick and raise the dead?

YOU KNOW THE ANSWERS! May God increase our faith to live the life that He has given us. We are called to be overcomers.

Love in Christ

Frank

P.S. During this Sabbath Millennium all labor comes out of rest. God’s resting on the seventh day is the pattern for our lives during this millennial day. I have been greatly helped and blessed by Joseph Prince’s current teachings on rest and that the land flowing with milk and honey we are to possess is rest – rest in Him and in His finished work.
